Guide to Ordering & Delivery in the UK
Welcome to this quick guide to ordering from BRYHT for delivery in the UK.
Can I place my order online/ by phone?
The most straight forward way to place your order is through the website.
Secure card payment handling is provided by PayPal (the BRYHT website does not retain any payment card details).
I am unable to take orders by phone as I do not have the facility to take card payments over the phone.
How much is the delivery charge?
For orders under £100 the UK delivery charge is £4.00 (including VAT).
For orders over £100 UK delivery is FREE.
For most addresses in the UK I will use a Royal Mail ‘signed for’ service however occasionally I may choose to use a different carrier if it is more suited to the delivery address. Please see the Delivery Policy for more details.
What’s the delivery timescale?
The typical delivery timescale is 3 – 5 working days for mainland UK.
I dispatch parcels Monday to Friday. Orders placed after office hours on Friday and during a weekend will be dispatched the following week.
Delivery to more remote areas such as the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, the Isle of Man or the Isle of Wight may take up to 10 working days.
I make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time however I am unable to guarantee delivery timescales.
Is the the delivery timescale different during busy times like the Christmas season?
I make every effort to maintain the delivery timescale during busier times of the year, however it is possible that the delivery timescale is extended due to other factors such as inclement weather or the number of parcels being handled by the delivery service.
Is the the delivery timescale affected by bank holidays?
Yes, during bank holidays the BRYHT office is closed so orders placed during a bank holiday will be processed as swiftly as possible after the bank holiday.
What’s the benefit of giving Safeplace instructions?
Providing Safeplace instructions means that your parcel may be left in your nominated Safeplace if there is no-one available to take delivery of the parcel (if no signature is required).
Please don’t ask me to add a delivery note for a safeplace which is not secure or open to the weather – such as under a car or in a bin store – the carriers won’t accept these!
Where do I give Safeplace instructions?
There is a box for Order Notes on the Checkout page – simply add your Safeplace instructions here.
If you have placed your order and realised that your Safeplace instructions are missing or need to be changed please use the Contact Us form to let me know as it may be possible to add the instructions to your order if it has not yet been packed!
